The director general in charge of secondary education at the Ministry of Education, Mondher Dhouib, said that Saturday, September 15, 2018 will be the date of the start of the school year 2018-19.
The first holidays of the first quarter are scheduled from October 29 to November 4 followed by the winter holidays scheduled from December 17 to January 1, 2019.
As for the second quarter holidays, they will start from February 4 to February 10, 2019. The spring holidays are scheduled from March 18 to 31, 2019.
There will also be a week of vacation, during the third quarter, from May 6 to 12, 2019, before the national exams.
